Incredible. The best K-bbq I’ve had in Brooklyn, maybe in the entire city. The quality of ingredients is amazing. The Galbi beef...to die for. The deals on a Thursday are crazy. 20 dollars for a carafe of amazing wine are you kidding me? The refillable banchan that’s oh so fresh and stupendously flavored? Ridiculous. On top of the high quality of food, the service is top notch and super warm and welcoming. I’ll be back very soon.

If I could give them 100/5 stars I would. INSA is incredible. I never thought I’d be the type of person who has a restaurant they’d naturally gravitate to for all their most special moments but I am now. Through INSA’s meals I’ve had my most precious memories with friends/ family. And it’s only possible because the atmosphere, team, and FOOD ARE AMAZING. The two women who served us last night were so attentive/ sweet. If you ever get the privilege of meeting chef Yong, you’ll immediately know why INSA works so well. He’s talented and inspiring. That type of energy just affects everything. Addicting even because I’ve been there 7 times. There will be an 8th. Probably will get married there haha. THANK YOU CHEF YONG AND TEAM!!! you guys are incredible

Expertly run Korean barbecue place with beautiful decor, amazing food, a charming bar, and private karaoke rooms. Some of the seating is family style, and on busy nights. It’s good to try and make a reservation before arriving.

We had such a great meal at Insa! Really delicious and fast. The space felt very cozy, will be perfect for winter too. Tables are large so it was a bit spacious for just two and the BBQ grill, but would be super fun in a group. Good prices for the portions, and the food was filling but felt healthy. We went on a weeknight and got a super cheap bottle of wine with their deal. Nice vegan and gluten free options, my GF friend felt very comfortable eating there.

We got No Curfew cocktails which had coffee liqueur! Innovative cocktails for sure. For food, we got Ojingeo Twigim and Jjajhang Saewoo. Both of the dishes were absolutely delicious. Also loved all the banchan included. Perfect place of Korean BBQ for a group.

*I will put the caveat in this review that I didn't pay for dinner because it was someone's birthday party I attended, and a some other reviewers mentioned how expensive it is. I will say that I did look at the menu when we were ordering and I didn't think the prices were out of pocket at all. Given that, we loved this place. The food was amazing, I thought it was so delicious, and the service was excellent. The ambience of the place is so cute and upscale. The only things I would mention is negatives were there are no backs to the seats in the middle of the floor, they're all benches, so if you're older that's a little tough. Also it is a loud place, at least on a Saturday night, but I think that's to be expected. After dinner we went to the karaoke room, and I thought it had really nice acoustics with soundproofing so that you aren't bothering or being bothered by the rooms next to you. The song options were decent, and beer and water flowed well from the wait staff for the rest of the night. All in all we had a really great time here, and I will definitely return. I especially thought the food was amazing, like really delicious, so I'm surprised at other reviews that said it was only so so. The crispy salad was probably my favorite, and they had these really amazing seaweed chips, I don't know what they were called, but I ate them all. It's a huge place, which I think is really nice, the bar area looked nice and maybe more quiet than the restaurant area, the restaurant area is huge, the bathrooms are well-appointed, and then I think there's like six karaoke rooms. I won't be visiting again anytime soon because I live in the Bronx and it's far, like another country, but I definitely would love to come back again, especially for a special event.

Been coming here for 7 years. Have had birthday parties, staff holiday parties, and any and everything in between at Insa. Warm, beautiful dining room, extremely well thought-out and executed food with a unique POV that thoroughly comes through, and excellent cocktails. Karaoke after with drinks service; or coming on a Thursday for the vibrant public karaoke at the bar; it is an extremely special place and I couldn't be more grateful it's in my neighborhood, to boot!

I went to Insa not too long ago on a Saturday with my boyfriend and we had a great time. My boyfriend and I sat at the bar tables and we were served by the best waitress, her name was Kate. There we ordered: •House made cherry limeades •Seafood corn dog •Tteokbokki •*From the cocktails section* I got one drink called “Three Little Women” and he got “Damsoul in a Sundress” •Insa’s special dish which was Pork ribs on kimchi waffles with a sweet glaze on top •Lastly for dessert we ordered Mochi Sizzle and Hibiscus-Coconut milk Sorbet. The bar section didn’t include the barbecue portion of the menu so if you want the Korean bbq make sure to arrive early or make a reservation . Either way you and your friends will have an awesome time! If you would like to see more pictures and videos from this restaurant and more restaurants check out my Instagram @blaze_eatsnyc
